Our Mission

Livingbattlefield of SC, is a charitable 501(c)3 organization.

Our mission is to preserve history by engaging with communities through outreach screenings, resources for teachers and fiscal sponsorship for the creation of quality historical programming.

News

We are currently touring communities with The American Road to Victory trilogy, a three part series produced by Labyrinth Media and distributed for television in the United States by SCetv and NETA (links)

Under license from the US rights holder, Livingbattlefield, llc, our organization has exclusive rights to conduct free community screenings and offer educational resources to educators at no charge. In addition, we maintain a regularly updated blog relating to WWII campaigns, and our outreach activities.

The American Road to Victory, which has aired more than 1000 times on PBS stations nationwide, is a groundbreaking approach to explaining history.

Filmed in the exact locations where the actions took place, underpinned by incredible veteran testimonies and presented by a passionate battlefield guide, Ellwood von Seibold, the series has a unique style which draws viewers of all ages into the actions.

"Let us ensure that the sacrifices of The Greatest Generation are never consigned to the dusty archives of ancient history."
